Obituary of Albert Feather
Albert E. Feather, Sr. of Canaan, NH, and a former resident of Fort Washington, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at his home. He was 89 years old. Born February 23, 1925, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Augustus S., and Sophie W. (nee Weimar). Albert retired from Byron Jackson Pumps Division of Borg Warner in 1984 and retired to the lakes region of New Hampshire to enjoy two of his passions - fishing and model railroading.
Albert was the beloved husband of his wife, Edith (nee Marley). He is survived by his son Albert, Jr. and his wife, Carol; a daughter, Janet Gunning and her husband Jack; and another daughter, Lori Crowther and her husband William. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Albert Scott, John, Kevin, Kristin, and Hannah as well as 6 great grandchildren, Samuel, Albert Scott, Jr., Timothy, Gabriel, Sara, and Corinne.
Relatives and friends are invited to a service of remembrance and praise starting at 11 a.m. at the Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting on Friday, April 4, 2014. There will be a period of visitation with the family starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the George Washington Memorial Park.
