Obituary of Alexander MacMullen
Alexander "Knute" MacMullen, age 95, of King of Prussia passed away on July 26, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Margaret (nee: Wager), daughter, Nancy Imperial, son, Bruce MacMullen and daughter, Cynthia Grant. Survived by his daughter, Barbara (Tom) DiGinto, daughter-in-law, Patricia MacMullen, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Knute was an avid golfer and a member of Springford Country Club for over 40 years. He was a prominent member of the great West Conshohocken High School basketball teams of the late 1930''s.
He retired from the Quaker Chemical Company, in 1982, after 36 years of service. He was in the U.S. Army during WWII serving in the Pacific Theater.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Friday, July 31, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. There will be a visitation prior to his service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow his funeral service.
