Obituary of Alfred DeViney

Alfred P. DeViney, of King of Prussia, Pa on October 27, 2014. Age 81. Son of the late Donald and Ruth (Nee Cutright) DeViney, he was born in Philadelphia, Pa. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Plasters Union Local #8 for 43 years and served on their board of health and welfare. Al coached youth football at both King of Prusssia Indians and Roxborough Eagles for many years.

Beloved husband of Emma May DeViney (Nee Sands) for 61 years. Loving father of Donna Ashe (Dave), Kimberly Johns (Dave), proceeded in death by Denise DeViney and Pamela DeViney. Dear Grandpop of Jason Ashe (Monica), Kevin Ashe (Laura), Michael Ashe, Krista Manoppello, Kellie Manoppello, and David Johns. Great Grandpop of Natalie Emma Ashe. Brother of the late Donald DeViney and Terry DeViney.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10 AM at the Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, Pa where services will begin at 11am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
