Obituary of Anna Mae Williams

WILLIAMS, ANNA MAE, on May 10, 2010, peacefully at home in Norristown, with her loving daughter, Esther R. Williams and extended family/caregivers Juan and Mary Ellen Colon and Maria Pittman at her side. Born in Upper Merion Twp, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (nee Raymond) Kontra. She was a phone operator for the Valley Forge Music Fair for many years. Beloved wife of 43 years of the late George H. Williams who passed away in 2000.

Survived by her son, G. Harry Williams and his wife, Susan, daughter Esther R. Williams and grandsons Steven H. and Matthew C. Williams, siblings: John Kontra (Gerri), Walter Kontra (Marilyn), Francis Kontra (Sue), Rose Murphy ( Larry), Emma Zimmerman (Irvin), Patrica Kontra and the late Michael Kontra and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by grandchildren from her extended family: Maria and her husband Damon, Christina and her husband Ruben, Philip, Tonya, Ricky and Ryan and great grandchildren: Nicholas, Daniel, Alessandra, Neveah, and twins Alani and Aliyah.

Esther wishes to thank the nursing and rehab staff of Rittenhouse Pine Center for the loving care, support and friendship she received during her stay, especially: LaToya, Tammy, Andrea, Rebecca, Kathy, Ellie and Mike.
