Anthony, 85, of Norristown passed away on May 29, 2018. He was born in Norristown on Dec. 12, 1932 to the late Charles and Mary (Sagrantz) Catagnus. He was the loving husband of the late Jennie A. (Papageorgeon) Catagnus for over 40 years. He was a long time member of the Norris Hose Co. Norristown Fire Dept. He worked for the Montgomery County Prison in Norristown, for Mont. Co. Security in later years, also worked Security at Mont. Hospital, and was a custodian for Haws United Methodist church for several years. He is predeceased  by his brother Charles Catagnus.

He is survived by his children Daniel Hummel (Judy), Edward Hummel (Eleanor), and Lisa Lee (James); grandchildren James Lee and Jonathan Hummel; siblings Lillian Galloway, Theresa Corcoran, Vince Catagnus, and Michael Catagnus; nieces; nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a viewing on Sat. June 2, from 9:30-10:30am, and a service at 10:30am, both at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park to follow.
