Anthony L. Freedman, age 70, of Havertown, PA, passed away on May 17, 2026. Born on February 26, 1956, Tony was the beloved son of the late Rita and Nathan Freedman of Springfield, Delaware County.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Maureen McGarvey, and his granddaughter, Alana McGarvey. He is also survived by his former spouse, Susan Freedman, and his cousins, Ernie Trujillo, Lou Freedman, Sherry Slutz, and Dorothea Birnbaum.

A graduate of Villanova University, Tony earned degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and built a long and respected career as a computer systems analyst. During his career, he worked for Colonial Penn Insurance, Sunoco, and most recently SEPTA.

Tony found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time at the beach with family, caring for his yard, and gathering each month with neighbors and friends for dinner club evenings that brought laughter and lasting memories.
