IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony "Nino"
Piazza
December 2, 1934 – December 30, 2025
Anthony "Nino" Piazza, 91, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. Born on December 2, 1934. Nino's life was defined by hard work, family, and community.
He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Charlotte Russo Piazza, whom he cherished deeply.
Nino was a devoted father to Mary Piazza, Nina Carrion, JoAnne Piazza, and Anthony Piazza (Lana). He was a proud grandfather to Alexander Piazza (Andrea), Tina Piazza, Angel Lenhart (Nicholas), Jacqueline Pugliese (Matthew), Nicole De La Torre (Daniel), Francesca Piazza, Alexis Piazza, and Giavanna Piazza.
He was a cherished great-grandfather to Alexander, Aston, Anderson, Lena, Nicholas, Danilo, Adriana, Anthony, Matthew, Antonio, and Charles and was joyfully anticipating the arrival of a great granddaughter on the way.
Nino began his lifelong career in the produce business at just 15 years old, a path that would shape his identity and legacy. His life's work and greatest passion was his produce stand in Columbus, New Jersey, where he became known far and wide as the Produce King. Through decades of early mornings and unwavering pride in his work, his stand became more than a business. It was a place where customers became friends and community was built.
Though he was famous for saying, "Live fast, ride hard, and die young," Nino lived a long and full life rich with purpose, resilience, and love for his family. Above all, he was a family man who took immense pride in the generations he helped build.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nino's visitation from 9:30 AM - 11 AM at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Mass will begin at 11 AM, Rev. Thomas D. O'Donald will be officiating.
Nino will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
