Obituary of Arlene O'Mullan
Arlene O'Mullan, of Abington, PA on April 27, 2014. Age 72. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Sarah (nee McClay) King. A breast cancer survivor, she volunteered for the American Cancer Society. She loved her beach time at her historic shack "The Salty Dog" in Ship Bottom, NJ. Arlene loved to entertain friends and family on holidays from Easter egg hunts to summer and Christmas parties. She looked forward to playing Mrs. Claus every year at orphans Christmas parties. She loved trips to Williamsburg and tried her luck often at the casinos where she took full advantage of her comps and senior discounts.
Beloved wife of the late Danny O'Mullan. Loving mother of William J. O'Mullan (Suzanne M. Baier), Kellianne O'Mullan Taunt, Christina L. O'Mullan (Brian J. Toner) and Julie A. Benhayon (Dennis Benhayon). Dear Gammie of Brittney, Denis, Billy, Danny, Tara, Kristin, Jackie, Autumn and Zachary. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Alice Mary O'Donnell (Robert) and nieces Kathleen and Mary and 15 cousins. Arlene's kind and loving companion of many years, the late Roy Reyburn was a true "gentle" man.
The family would like to acknowledge everyone at Abington Hospice at Warminster for the exceptional care given by Doctor Carl Wenzel and the wonderful staff and volunteers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Autism Cares Foundation or American Cancer Society.
