Benjamin Harrison Linton Jr passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024 at the age of 96.

Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Olga and older sister Jeanne Sheppard.

He was a loving father to  Benjamin Linton III and Carrie Bonnet(Jeffrey). He had 4 grandchildren; Audrey(Kevin), Miranda(Cody), Olivia and Jayson. Benjamin also was a proud great-grandfather to Amellia, Gracie and Elizabeth.

Benjamin was born to Olga Smith Linton and Benjamin Harrison Linton on December 5, 1927 and grew up in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia. He graduated from William Penn Charter School in 1946 and went on to graduate from Amherst College in 1950.

Benjamin had a successful career at Mahoney Troast as a commercial land developer and retired from his second career in medical sales from Mackin Medical.

Through the years Benjamin enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and traveling. He would take his long time girlfriend Jean Mackin out to movies or the mall. On Saturday mornings he would show up to his daughters house with a dozen donuts and a newspaper in hand.
Benjamin was always loyal to  Philadelphia sports teams and religiously watched his Eagles and Phillies games. He ended his phone calls with "keep your tailgate up!"
