Obituary

Bernard G "Ben" Dudley, 88, passed away peacefully at his daughter's residence on September 30, 2019.  He was born on August 1, 1931 to Guy Walter and Jenny (Davis) Dudley.

A resident of Glenside, he worked as a tool and dye maker for many years while honorably serving in the US Navy Reserves.  When he was not working, he enjoyed woodworking, re-enacting Civil War battles, acting as the president of the Dixie Derby Square Dancing Club, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Lianne Lenahan and Stacey (John) Dent; two brothers, Walt Dudley and Rowland (Lois) Dudley; three grandchildren, Nicole (Stephen) Senatore, Carson Dent, and McKayla Lenahan; and many other family members.  In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by his wife of 63 years, Joan (Skilton) Dudley, three brothers, and two sisters.

Ben's funeral service will be at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462 on October 10, 2019 at 11 AM.  The family will be receiving friends and family from 10 – 10:50 AM.
