Betty Anne Schoppe, 83, of Ocala, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James and Sarah Shisler and moved to Plymouth Meeting, PA where she lived most of her life. She moved to Ocala in 2014. Betty was a tax collector in Plymouth Township, PA and worked at Hess''s Department Store at Plymouth Meeting Mall until her retirement. She was a bridge player all her life and was a member of Calvary Chapel of Norristown in Trooper, PA. Betty was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Schoppe in 1975; and her brother James Shisler.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Walker of Ocala, FL, son Robert and wife Deborah Schoppe of Bloomsburg, PA, granddaughter Jessica Walker of Belleview, FL; 3 great grandchildren; Issac, Johnathan, and Stephanie; and sister-in-law Virginia Shisler.

Mrs. Schoppe will be buried at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA through the direction of Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stanton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA. (610) 832-2064.
