Beverly Ann Brown, 76, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with her daughter by her side.

Beverly was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 11, 1949, to John Robert Brown and Dora J. (Sanders) Brown. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1967 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State University. Beverly enjoyed a distinguished career in finance: she was one of the first women to rise to vice president at Mellon Bank in the 1980s and later founded Diversified Financial Services, where she worked as a financial advisor for 25 years.

A warm and generous hostess, Beverly loved cooking, throwing parties, spending time at the shore, and traveling with her husband Ronnie. Above all, she treasured time with her family — especially her daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and great-grandson. Beverly was active in her community and local politics, including service on the Colonial School District school board, and she received numerous awards for her civic involvement.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Dr. Kimberley Flint of Lafayette Hill; daughter-in-law Laurie Flint; granddaughter Jessica Brown-Flint; great-grandson Riley Brown-Flint; brother Bobby Brown; nieces Dori Peeples and Amber Brown; and nephew Tyler Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. DeRosa; her mother, Dora J. Brown; her father, Robert Brown; and her sister, Donna MacNeil.

A graveside goodbye will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 11a.m. A celebration of her life will follow at The Boot in Lafayette Hill from 12-3 p.m.
