Chong Rae Kim, age 85, of Lansdale, passed away on August 27, 2024 in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.

Born in South Korea on May 15, 1939, she was the 5th child of 6. She had 2 older brothers, 2 older sisters, and a younger brother.

She married at age 28 and had 2 daughters; Sung - Un, and Sung - Lee.

She divorced in 1972 and never remarried.

In 1979, She moved to the United States with her 2 daughters settling in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1981, they moved to the Philadelphia region and resided here ever since.

Surviving are her daughters; Jennifer and her husband Kwang Lee and Sunghee and her husband Rak Hyon.

Grandchildren; Jessica, Linda, and Joshua, Robert, and Matthew.

She was the last surviving of all her siblings. She was loved by all family and friends and will be missed by all.

Her viewing will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Heritage Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park at 10:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 10:30 AM with Pastor Andrew Kim officiating. Burial will be private.
