Claire Louise Dewees passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Pennsburg, PA. She was 96 years old, born on January 16, 1925 in Abington, PA to the late Edgar Roland and Helen Marie (Landau) Sines of North Hills, PA.

Claire was an administrative assistant with the Nestle Corporation for her working life, and when she was not working, she enjoyed her family, rollerskating, reading romance novels, spending time with friends, trips to the beach and bicycling.

Claire is survived by her daughter, Linda Wesler (Wes) of Bechtelsville, PA, granddaughter Regina Woodring (John) and great grandchildren Jordan and Zachary Wooding; her daughter Donna Pifer (Gary) of Blue Bell, PA and grandchildren Glenda Pifer and Melanie D'Angelo (Juan) and great-grandchildren Aly and Emma D'Angelo.

Also survived by nephew John Blackwell and two nieces Cheryl Kissinger and Debbie Blackwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Bill and Edgar Sines and sister Dorothy Blackwell.

All services will be held privately by request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Claire's honor may be made to a favorite charity.
