Daniel ( Donato ) A. Vacca, age 90, of Blue bell, Pa., passed away on September 2, 2016 . He was the husband of the late Laura Vacca and is survived by his son, David Vacca and his granddaughter , Morgan Vacca, and nieces and nephews . Daniel was the devoted and loving brother of the late Philomena Spagnolia. Daniel served proudly in the U.S. Army, with the 405th Infantry Regiment , in the European Theater of Operations, and received the EAME Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, the World War 2 Victory Medal, The Purple Heart, The Silver Star, the Good Conduct Medal , and the Combat Infantry Badge. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 8, 2016, 9:30 Am, at the Kirk & Nice, Inc., Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 ( 610 - 832 - 2064 ), where Daniel's celebration of life will begin at 10:30 am.
