October 25, 1953 – August 14, 2022
David B. McGuigan, of Plymouth Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the age 68 . He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 28 years, Marianne McGuigan (Duva) and his parents, Robert and Jean McGuigan and brother, Robert L. 'Bob' McGuigan. David is survived by his loving children: Nicholas McGuigan , of Broomall , Michael McGuigan, Daniel McGuigan and D avid S. McGuigan Sr (Kaitlyn), all of Plymouth Meeting, and grandchildren: Kennedy and David S. Jr. David also leaves behind his dear sister, Jeannie (Philip) Guistwite , of Fuquay-Varina, NC , Buddy the cat, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Dave was a lifetime member of The Harmonville Fire Company, having been affiliated with the organization for over 50 years. He also served as a longtime fire dispatcher for Montgomery County, coached many years for Conshohocken Little League, and worked for Romano's Bus Service driving bus #3 for over 20 years. A devout Christian, Dave was a long time parishioner at Plymouth Meeting E.C Church. Dave loved Philadelphia sports teams, especially Phillies baseball. He had a great sense of dry humor and was known to be a jokester with his friends and family. He loved to visit Ocean City, New Jersey with his family and attend classic car shows and visit the boardwalk. He will be missed by all who love him
Friends and family are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday August 20, 2022, 10:00am-1:00pm, at Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church, 42 E Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. In Dave's honor, informal attire recommended: pocket tees or Philly sports teams shirts. Memorial Contr ibutions may be made to Parkinson's Foundation , www.parkinson.org , or to Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church.
