Doris S. Clugston, 95, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in Cathedral Village Nursing Home.

Memorial service will be held at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 12 PM with Reverend William McKinney formerly of Leverington Presbyterian Church officiating. Doris will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting. Visitation will be held at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 11 AM until service time.

Doris was born in Philadelphia, PA to Charles Finley and Bertha Loos Flexer Smith on May 24, 1930. She attended Roxborough High School and graduated in 1948. She met the love of her life, the late Wilbur Bevan Clugston Jr and married in 1956.  She enjoyed reading, sitting on the porch in Wildwood with her cup of coffee, traveling and visiting Disney World as well as spending time with family.

Doris is survived by her sons: Robert, Rick (Vickie), David (Jocelyn) and Mark (Joyce). Grandchildren: Timothy (Kimberly), Matthew, Melissa, Stephen and Isabella. Great Grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey and her brother Bud as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, siblings Pat, Nancy and Art.
