Obituary of Dorothy Ettinger
Dorothy "Dottie" Ettinger (nee Watkins) age 70 on October 5, 2015. Daughter of the late William H. and Cortiss D. Watkins. Devoted wife of the Reverend Robert Ettinger. Loving mother of Jamie L. (Charles) Ryons and Jason T. Ettinger. Sister of William Watkins, Cortiss (Clarence) Johnson and Mark John (Jill) Watkins. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth M. Hoffman. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jordan C. Gottshall, Cody A. Ryons and Cailey E. Ryons and her nieces and nephews.
Dottie worked as a long-time secretary of the psychology department of Arcadia University. She enjoyed time with her family attending various events with her grandchildren, vacationing at the shore, Disney and Bermuda and creating dry floral arrangements. She held offices at the Cold Point Baptist Church overseeing the Mission Promotion Board.
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Cold Point Baptist Church, 5063 Militia Hill Rd, Plymouth Meeting PA 19462 followed by Dottie''s memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Dottie''s memory to the above mentioned church.
