Obituary of Dorothy Schnell

Dorothy Perry Schnell better known as "Tootie," beloved wife of the late Henry C. Schnell, of Flourtown passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2012. She was 85. She was retired from Bell of Pennsylvania where she worked as a telephone operator for 40 years. She was the daughter of the Head Chauffer for Mrs. McKean. She was the last surviving person to live with the McKean family at their Horsham Estate (which later became Oak Terrace Country Club, then Talamore).

Tootie loved spending time at her home in Forked River, NJ, where she enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing with her husband Henry and relatives. Her husband died in 1981. She is survived by many nephews and nieces.
