Lil Walton, daughter of Lillie and James Ferguson of Jenkintown, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence at Meadowood in Lansdale, PA on September 22, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born in 1930, Lil lived in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New Jersey, York, and Pittsburgh. She graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame and Gwynedd Mercy College. An avid golfer, she served as president of the ladies golf association at Oakmont Country Club, and she was a longtime member of The Junior League.

Lil married Anthony "Tony" Walton and welcomed three stepchildren into her family. Together they enjoyed their homes in Philadelphia and homes in Savannah, GA, and Vero Beach, FL.

She is survived by her children Jane (Peter), Tim (Gail), and Jody (Mike); her stepchildren Tony and Chris; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Lil was predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Peggy Anne, Isabelle, and James; her son, Terry; her stepson, Peter; and her husband, Tony.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Patrick's Mausoleum in Norristown, PA
