Obituary of Edith Brown

Mrs. Edith T. Brown, beloved wife of the late Cardin Brown, passed away at Rittenhouse Pine Center on May 24th, 2011. She was 97 years old. Edith graduated in 1938 from Kutztown University with a degree in Library Science. She then worked as a librarian with the McKeesport School District. She was a member of the Whitemarsh Women''s Club and a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Plymouth Meeting. In addition she will be remembered as an excellent cook who always enjoyed trying new recipes. She is survived by her Sons David C. and his wife Betsy of Indiana, Tim Brown of Plymouth Meeting, and her daughter Barbara Anne of Audubon. She is also survived by her Grandson Jeff and his wife Suzanne of Indiana, her great grandchildren Benjamin and Sophie and her Daughter in Law Linda Brown. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Brown.
