Eleanor Hagopian (née Clark), 78 years of Oreland, PA passed away on August 9, 2021. She was born to the late Ellis and Eleanor Clark (née Mattson) in Philadelphia, PA. Eleanor was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, and chatting over a cup of coffee with her friends. After graduating from Ambler High School, Eleanor went to work as a secretary at the American Baptist Convention in King of Prussia, PA and later at American Chemical Paint Company ("AmChem") in Ambler, PA. As her children got older, Eleanor returned to the workforce as a lunchtime aide at Enfield Elementary School in Oreland.  When she wasn't out on the playground with the kids, she helped out wherever she was needed and could be found assisting in a classroom, greeting visitors, or answering the phone in the office. From Room Mother to PTA President to Band Parent, Eleanor was involved in all of her children's school events and extra curricular activities as they grew to adulthood.  She also served as a Republican Committeewoman in Springfield Township.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hagopian and son Samuel Hagopian; nephew, Jason Clark, cousin, Joan Marsden, close family friend Aaron Hoffman, and the many treasured friends she made, especially those she met at Dublin Terrace in the final years of her life.

She is predeceased by her husband Jack Hagopian and brother, Ellis Clark.

All are invited to the visitation on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10am-11:30am at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA. A service will follow and interment will be held at George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to: The Eleanor Hagopian Memorial Fund of the Enfield Erdenheim Home and School Partnership.
