Eleanor Kleins passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020 in Lower Gwynedd, PA.  She was 97 years old, born on October 7, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Walter and Louise (Stauss) Lackman.

Eleanor worked as a Supervisor for a Mail Order business before retiring.  In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and playing cards. She was also very active in the Acts community.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Nancy J. and Stanley A. Szostek of Philadelphia, and Henry James "Jim" and Patricia Kleins of Hatfield.  Also surviving are her grandchildren  Timothy S. Szostek and Kelly Davis, James Kleins and Maggie Kleins, and Michael A. Szostek and Heather Lynch.  great-grandchildren, Alexander and Aubrey Szostek and Jeremy and Liam Kleins , and many other friends and family.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry John Kleins, who passed in 2003, and her sister Evelyn Rouillot.

A private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Rd., Abington, PA  19001 at 1 PM.  Due to the recent mandates, please be sure to wear a face mask and practice social distancing when possible.
