Obituary of Elizabeth Burke
Elizabeth C. Burke of Lafayette Hill, on May 17, 2014 at Chestnut Hill Hospital. Daughter of the late Keating Finley and Florence May Cahall, she was born on September 19, 1926. Retired from Citgo Company in Bala Cynwyd, she was a member of the Eastern Star and active in Red Cross as a volunteer. She was an expert in needlework and sold her creations at craft shows. Elizabeth, along with her late husband, Joe were active with the Undine Boat Club with the University of Penn.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Burke. Survived by her sisters, Florence Wilhelmina Cahall Straub of Norristown and Caroline Naglee of Virginia Beach and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 half brother and 1 half sister.
Services are private.
