In memory of Elizabeth M Cascio 1929-2022

Née: Elizabeth Betty Brooks Solimeo

On August 7th 2022, Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in West Deptford NJ. She was with family. She was 93 and can now reunite with her soulmate Rudy after more than 38 years.

Betty loved and was loved by all those she leaves behind including her daughter Victoria Calliano of Suffern NY her son Richard Solimeo of West Deptford and daughter in law Marie Solimeo. (even her ex daughter in law Gina!)

She loved and spoke often of her younger twin brothers Harold Brooks (and Angie) of Berlin MD and Joseph Brooks (and Pat) of San Antonio TX and was predeceased by her sister Casandra Rose Lomax.

She was a proud Grandma to Melissa and Brian Calliano of Suffern NY, Alec Solimeo and Alana Malone of Boulder CO and Zachery and Rebecca Solimeo of West Deptford and Voorhees NJ.

Betty was blessed with 6 great grandchildren, Presley, Jaime, Zealius, Malaya, Irie and Victor.

She was Aunt Betty to numerous nieces and nephews far too many to mention all. ( but here's a few - Natalie Bunny Lynn Victor Victor Joseph Diana Judy Bill Cliff Ken Deb Lynn Marie Dorothy John Nicky

Betty was a proud homemaker but also was a manicurist a factory worker and even a concession stand worker at the Dodgers Vero Spring training stadium !

From Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn and Coney Island to Suffern to Sloatsburg to Vero Beach and West Deptford NJ she touched many lives, and outlasted many of them! Betty will always be fondly thought of and missed by many!
