Elizabeth "Betty" Francis (Nocero) Leech, age 97, wife of the late Edward Leech of Ambler, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Limerick.

Born on January 22, 1925 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Dominico and Rosina "Rose" (Calisto) Nocero.

Known by Betty as to all who knew her, she loved baking. She took her cookies and cakes to everyone she knew. You could enter her home on any given day and if she wasn't baking, her table was stacked with the goodies ready to go out!

Betty collected turtles and her collection at one point was over 10,000! These turtles came from all over the world from friends and family in the form of knick knacks: jewelry, household items, and many, many more! A lot of the turtles have been gifted over the years and only a few remain in her cherished collection.

Betty was involved with her church, community, and volunteering whenever the opportunity presented itself.

She will be remembered above all for her compassion for others, and her love for her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her daughter; Barbara J., granddaughters; Ann, Jennifer, and Melissa, her grandson; Terrence N., great grandchildren; Alexandra, Francesco, Cynthia, Kannan, and Greyson.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
