Elizabeth Ellen Duckenfield Neidig went home to be with her Lord on Sunday,
November 19, 2017 at the age of 96, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Neidig, originally from Philadelphia, lived in Levittown and most recently
resided in Quarryville, PA.
Mrs. Neidig loved to cook for her family and friends, crochet, play games,
watch the Hallmark channels and was devoted to her family and her faith.
Beloved wife of the late William F. Neidig, she was the loving mother of Ronald
Duckenfield (Doris), Elane N. Durbin (Joe), the late Roberta N. Hildesheim
(James), William F. Neidig, Jr. (Marylou), Edward R. Neidig (Patricia), Craig
Neidig (Deborah), Maryellen N. Byers (Terry) and Cherylann N. Rider (Tom),
grandmother of 19, great grandmother of 39 and great-great grandmother of
3. Elizabeth is also survived by her sister, Elsie Duckenfield Smart.
Born on May 10, 1921 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late
Charles Duckenfield Sr., and Grace Elizabeth Holt.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life Service on
Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. John''s United Methodist
Church, 820 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA 18974.
