Elizabeth Jean Beattie Stewart Palamone, age 87, of Lancaster, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 26 ^th , 2018. She was born on March 17 ^th , 1930 to her parents, Robert and Margaret Beattie. She survived her late brother, Robert Beattie and sister, Margaret (Peggy) Neithercott. She is survived by her brother Samuel Beattie (Katie). She was raised on the J. Howard Pew estate in Ardmore, PA and graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1948.  She married her late husband, William J. Stewart Jr. in 1954 and had four children: Susan Stewart Hartman, the late Frances S. Palamone, William J. Stewart III (Faith), and Roberta L. Franckowiak (Bob). She was a long time member of Grace Chapel in Havertown, PA and moved to Lancaster, PA in 1996.  In 2006, she married her second husband, Michael J. Palamone, and both attended Calvary Baptist Church of Lancaster, PA.  She is also survived by her nephew Edward Neithercott; nieces Betsy Emerson, Tina Birch and Shannon Button (Peters); six grandchildren, Tyson Young, Jean Marie Sauder, Chase Franckowiak, Bret Hartman, Quinn and Bryce Stewart; and five great grandchildren, Brooke Franckowiak, Lincoln Young, Brie, JD and Madison Sauder.

Friends and family are invited on Friday, March 16, 2018 to call for a visitation from 10-11am and to attend a service of remembrance at 11am, both at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Following the chapel ceremony there will be a graveside service where Elizabeth is laid to rest next to her first husband.
