Obituary

Lyn, 82, of Ambler passed away on Oct. 26, 2016. She was born in Roxborough on May 4, 1934 to the late Francis and Mary (Conlan) Mullen. She was the loving wife of the late William B. Hackenberg Jr. Up until her retirement she was an active member of the AIDS organization Siloam Ministries of Philadelphia, and an active volunteer at Germantown Hospital for many years. She loved playing bridge, her 4 granddaughters, and spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Mark Hackenberg and 5 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Axelrod; granddaughters Whitney, Rachel, Dannah, and Chelsey; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a visitation on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 11:30am-noon, with a service at noon. Both at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
