Obituary of Florence Deskiewicz

DESKIEWICZ, FLORENCE (Galant) on Friday, January 22, 2010 at home in Plymouth Meeting, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Deskiewicz, a homemaker, was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Plymouth Meeting and a founding member of the Epiphany 55 Club. She served in the US Army during World War II.

Born in Western Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Pawlowski) Galant. She was the wife of the late Joseph Deskiewicz. Surviving are her loving family including son, James of Plymouth Meeting, her daughter, Loretta Dewberry and son-in-law Dr. F. Lawrence of Safety Harbor, FL, 9 grandchildren: Jennifer, Johanna, Lawrence, Jerome, Marguerite, Amanda, Clarisse, Julianna and Loretta; 2 sisters Marie Mariacher and Irene Downing, both of New Castle, PA and several nieces and nephews.
