Obituary of Francis Weiss
Francis H. Weiss, 87, of Wilmington, DE, and formerly of Conshohocken, PA, passed away on July 24, 2014. Francis was born in Jeffersonville, PA to Frank and Anna (Fry) Weiss 0n December 31, 1926. He attended Norristown High School. Francis served in the US Navy and was a World War II Veteran. Until his retirement, he was employed as an HVAC specialist. He is survived by his daughters Lynn Templeton and Susan Morrison, his sons William F. Weiss and John Weiss, his grandchildren William Weiss, Heather Curtis, Jared Weiss, Jonathon Weiss, Alexandra Weiss, Christopher Morrison, Brittany Morrison and his great grandchildren Jakob Curtis, Abbie Curtis, Eleanor Weiss and Lucy Weiss. He is preceded in death by both parents and all of his siblings.
Francis loved to vacation with his children and grandchildren at the Jersey shore. Some of his favorite activities were watching "Mystery" on PBS and viewing old Sherlock Holmes and Charlie Chan films.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association of Delaware Valley, 399 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19006.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of those at Optum Hospice Care of King of Prussia, PA and to Brandywine Senior Living Community, East Norriton, PA for their kind and compassionate care of Francis in his final days.
