Obituary

Frederick A. Saylor, age 86 of Blue Bell, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Blue Bell Place.

Frederick was born on March 16, 1940 in Ambler, PA to the late Albert and Jennie (nee: Dragone) Saylor. He went to high school at Ambler High School and graduated in 1958. He was a proud US navy veteran and was employed at Wissahickon School District as a grounds keeper until his retirement.

Frederick was an avid golfer, he enjoyed watching all of the Philadelphia sport teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. Fred loved music, he would be listening to Frankie Vallie, Frank Sinatra, and various other artists. He would be found outside, maintaing his yard and helping out his neighbors when needed. But above all else, Frederick would love to spend time with his family, especially at Christmas.

Frederick was husband for 62 years to the late Mary F. (nee: Henrick) Saylor. He was the loving father of Sherri Curley, Fred Saylor (Joanne), Darryl Saylor (Suzanne), Scott Saylor (Michelle), and Bryan Saylor (Jennifer); Cherished grandfather of Caitlin, Stephen, Meghan, Gabbie, Darryl, Marissa, Julia, Lucas, Scott Jr., Addison, Macayla, and Ava; proud great-grandfather of Emilia, Rowan and Archer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frederick's celebration of life on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Kirk and Nice Funeral Homefrom 10 AM to 11 AM to share fond memories. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Father Carl Janicki will be officiating.

Frederick will be laid to rest with military honors at George Washington Memorial Park, where he will be reunited with the love of his life, Mary F. Saylor.
