George F. Timm passed away in his home June 26, 2016, age 97 years. A retired WWII USMC Gunnery Sargeant, having served for 30 years. The beloved husband of Angela, he is also survived by a daughter Diane Pastella (Randy), a grandson Jesse and sister Evelyn Whildin. He was preceded in death by his brothers Carl and Paul Timm. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday June 29 from 10 am at the Heritage Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, where funeral services will be held at 11am. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to "Disabled American Veterans" 5000 Wissahickon Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19144.
