Obituary of Geraldine Cox

Mrs. Geraldine Cox passed away January 2nd 2010 at the age of 81 at Keystone House in Wyndmoor. Mrs. Cox was born in Philadelphia, PA and enjoyed her last years at Bethlehem Retirement Village in Flourtown. Gerry was a long time volunteer with R.S.V.P. and it was during her tenure there that she earned the title of Comcast Volunteer of the year in 2003. She also graduated from R.S.V.P Clown School at the age of 78 and used her talents to bring smiles to many. She took great pride in her membership in the Red Hat Society as well as volunteered some of her time with the Surrogate Grandmother Program. Gerry also greatly enjoyed spending time with all of her loving grandchildren. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Cox. Surviving Geraldine are her Son Thomas and his wife Elayne of Reading, her son Wayne and wife Barbara of Philadelphia, her son William and wife Kathy of New Hampshire, her daughter Gerry Bunting and husband Walt of Flourtown and her daughter Edie Polczynski and husband Tom of Plymouth Meeting. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Mrs. Cox also leaves behind her loving friend Charles Cooper as well as many loving friends and relatives.

In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Keystone House at 8765 Stenton Ave. Wyndmoor, PA 19038.
