Obituary of Gilda Long

LONG, GILDA (nee Sesso), 92, died September 26. Beloved wife of the late Charles W. Long, she was a resident of the Philadelphia Protestant Home since 2007.Born on Catherine St. in South Philadelphia, Gilda graduated from South Philadelphia High School and worked for E. Cherry and Sons Candy Co. She later helped her husband at his luncheonette business. She is survived by her son, Charles Patrick Long, daughter Ann Marie Leva and son-in-law Joseph A. Leva, three grandchildren, Joseph C. and his fiance Danielle, Michael W. and Jill Marie Leva and her loving sister Ida Sesso.
