Harry ("Chip") Inett Taylor, Jr., of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully at home on December
19, 2023. He was 55 years old.
Chip was born in December 1967 to Harry and Margaret ("Peggy") Taylor in Columbus, OH. The
family moved to Holden, MA, where he attended Wachusett Regional High School, from which
he graduated in 1985. Chip went on to study at the University of Maine, where he earned a
bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in mathematics.
After attending college, Chip worked at The Paul Revere Life Insurance Company, in Worcester
MA for several years before transferring to Philadelphia, PA. While living in the Philadelphia
metro area, Chip enjoyed a 32-year career in the insurance industry selling employee benefits
for multiple insurance companies, with his most recent employment being at Trustmark
Benefits.
Chip met his future wife Jennifer (nee Faranda) Taylor while spending the summer at the beach
in Avalon, NJ. Chip and Jennifer were married in June 2000 and raised three children during
their 23-year marriage. The greatest joy in Chip's life was being with his family. Chip also
enjoyed spending time with friends, traveling, artistic pursuits, reading and video games. He
had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Chip will be remembered for
his warm personality and charm.
Chip was predeceased by his father, Harry I. Taylor, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his
son Harrison; his daughters Hannah and Emily; his sister Melissa Rice (husband Kyle); and his
mother Peggy Taylor. He is also survived by his nephews Ethan Rice and Oliver Rice and niece,
Avery Rice.
