Obituary of Hazel Nichols

HAZEL HELEN ROSS- NICHOLS, on October 31, 2009. Born in Toronto, Canada on March 10, 1928, Hazel lived most of her life in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Frankford High School. After retiring from Anchor Dye and Finishing, she moved to West Virginia and most recently resided in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

Loving daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Ross, Hazel is survived by her daughter, Lynne and son-in-law, Victor Murray of Lawrenceville, NJ, son, Richard Nichols of Mathias, WV, and daughter Jacqueline Nichols of Drexel Hill, PA. Also survived by grandchildren Douglass Murray of Lawrenceville, NJ, Jennifer Whetzel and her husband Jackie of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Garrett Nichols and his wife JoAnna of Staunton, Virginia and her one great grandson, Alexander Nichols.

Hazel always enjoyed traveling and remained young in heart; never declining the opportunity to attend a stage show, rock concert or family gathering she brought life to every party and a celebration of life to every heart she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Hazel''s memory to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134-9987 or www.pspca.org. A private memorial service will be held at the gravesite.
