Obituary of Herbert Davies

Mr. Herbert J. Davies passed away Monday April 25th, 2011 at his residence in Ambler. He was 72 years old. Born in Shenandoah, PA he was the son of the late Herbert and Anna Davies. Herb was a resident of Ambler for 40 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was an accomplished Software Designer. In addition to his work with computers he also taught Computer Technology at Eastern College in St. David''s. Herb was also an avid hunter and fisherman and his memory will be cherished by many. Surviving are his Wife Margaret (nee Burke), his daughter Cheri Spirito (Gene) as well as his son Brian (Danielle). He is also survived by his grandchildren Joshua, Danielle, Melissa, Justin, Michael, T.J., Brian and Sean as well as 2 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Abington Memorial Hospital Hospice at 1200 Old York Road Abington, PA 19001 would be appreciated.
