James C. Dempsey, 71, of Blue Bell passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia on June 16, 1950 to Dorothy Dempsey. He was the loving husband of Katherine (Armstrong) Dempsey for 39 years. James was a simple man who loved to fix whatever he could get his hands on.

He is survived by his wife; children Susan (Edward) Manney and James B. (Mia) Dempsey; grandchildren Vincent & Brielle Manney and Juliana & Anthony Dempsey; siblings Thomas (Kathie) Dempsey and Dottie Dempsey; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a viewing on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 10-11:30am and a funeral service at 11:30am, both at Kirk & Nice Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park to follow.
