Jane Adele Pratt was born on October 6th, 1939 in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA.

She was the daughter of Henry Charles Pratt and Mary Honor Pratt (nee Connaghan).  Her siblings included Henry "Hank" Charles Pratt, Joanne Dixon Nelson, and Anne Biddle Pratt.

At the age of nine she and her family moved to Erdenheim, PA.  Jane graduated from Springfield High School in Montgomery County and attended Ursinus College.

In July of 1960 she married George Arthur Sharp III, with whom she eventually gave birth to four beautiful children; David Lewis Sharp, Kathleen Campbell Sharp, Carolyn Regina Canagiani, and George Arthur Sharp IV.  She divorced in 1972 and later married Daniel Joseph Paesani in 1991 and lived in East Norriton for the rest of her life.  She is also survived by a step-daughter, Donna Norris, and many loving grandchildren.  Jane was employed in the sales department of the John Hancock Insurance Company from 1976 through 1984, and later worked for Dr. Glenn Miller in his Conshohocken practice for eight years.  Jane was an avid gardener, and a voracious reader of daily newspapers, Reader's Digest, mystery books, and the Saturday Evening Post.  She enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles and 1,000pc picture puzzles.  She had a life-long appreciation for Cape May, NJ – where many a guest joined Daniel and her for respite from the daily grind back home.  Most assuredly there were secret ingredients in her 'MamaNuss Cookies' – which she would remind one – should be served firm and crunchy, as should bacon or toast.
