Janet L. Hough passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in Mount Holly, N.J. She was 90 years old, born on February 7, 1931, in Hempfield Township, Pa., to the late Walter F. and Hannah (Erickson) Errett.

A resident of Alverton, Pa., Janet retired with her husband to Ocala, Fl., where they enjoyed the warm weather and friendly, active
community. Later in life, she relocated to live near family in Moorestown, N.J.

She spent her working life in healthcare as a histology lab supervisor.  When not working, she enjoyed sewing and painting. Her
beautiful creations have been worn by or are displayed in the homes of  many friends and family members with whom she shared her talent and creativity. Janet also enjoyed travel, reading and gardening.

Janet is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Karen) Hough, Janice (Robert) White, Neil (Marsha) Hough and Chris (Elaine) Hough; grandchildren Jason (Bethany) Hough, Lauren (Chuck) McGill, Chad Hough, Garrett Hough, Marissa Stanish, Travis Hough, Christopher White, Nicole White and Sara Hough; great-grandchildren Gunnar McGill  and Norah and Nolan Hough; and many other friends and family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Jerry; son John; brother Walter and sister Betty.

A private memorial service will be held for Janet in her hometown at a later date.
