Jennie Frederick (nee Martin), age 96 of Philadelphia, PA went home to be with the Lord peacefully in Abington, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Jennie is survived by her daughter Robin Nancy (Frederick) Reed, her son Ronald Nelson, and her son-in-law, Ross Darryl Reed. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Jennie is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Robert Nelson, her parents Ethel (Effie) Martin and stepfather, James McGlinchey.

Jennie found her most joy keeping her home and raising her family in the Andorra section of Philadelphia. She was a devoted Christian. She loved God very much and found much joy in reading her Bible daily and attending Andorra Baptist Church and Calvary Chapel Philadelphia over the years. Her other favorite pastimes were gardening, needlepoint and reading novels of mystery and romance.

Friends and family are invited to gather at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home Chapel, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 for Robert and Jennie's funeral service. Following the funeral service, a committal service will begin at 11:30 AM escorting Robert and Jennie to their final resting place on the grounds of George Washington Memorial Park.
