Obituary of Joan Heffner
Joan R. Heffner, 83, of Roslyn, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born in Philadelphia and lived in Roslyn all her married life. Joan worked for the former Leeds & Northrup Co. as a book keeper for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Ortmann. Joan was a loving wife to Richard E. Heffner for 63 years, a loving mother to her two daughters, Deborah Salvi and Ruth (Kevin) Gallagher, grandmother of five, Nicole, Kelly, Gina, Kristin and Rick and great grandmother of 2 great grandsons.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan''s memorial visitation from 10:00-11:00AM on Saturday, November 7, 2015, followed by her funeral service at 11:00AM, at the Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
