Joan Kenworthy (Vieser) Bealor, age 92, wife of 67 years to the late Earl Francis Bealor, passed away on October 15, 2024. She was a longtime resident of Abington, Hatfield and since 2014 had lived at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale.

Joan was born in Camden, NJ on November 2, 1931 and grew up in Haddonfield, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Charles and Joan Wardman (Kenworthy) Vieser and sister to the late Carol (Vieser) Smith. She was a graduate of Moorestown Friends High School in NJ, Beaver college (now Arcadia), and Gwynedd Mercy College.

Joan was a homemaker and later worked as a registered nurse, over 21 years at Horsham Clinic. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling, acting and directing in church and community theater groups, classical music concerts, and trips to Ocean City, NJ.

Joan was the happiest spending time with her family. She was also very devoted to the various cats she had over the years. Joan was kind hearted, had a gentle nature, and looked for the best in all of us. Her church and her Christian faith supported her in difficult times.

Joan was a loving mother to three children: the late Joan Louise Barwis, Karen Phillips (Jack), and Garth Bealor (Anne-Marie). She is survived by eight of her nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Funeral Service and Interment will be privately held.
