Obituary of Joanne Falgie
Joanne Falgie, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on May 6, 2014, surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anna May and Henry Hankele. She was extremely creative using her gift to sew, knit, draw, paint and was an avid gardener and animal lover. A very involved grandmother and mother, she never missed an important event in their lives. Joanne was a member of the Phillipians, played mahjong and enjoyed Wednesday lunches with her friends and monthly dinners with her aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved old movies and Celtic Thunder music.
Survived by her children Michele Phillips (Jeff), Rhonda DiAntonio (Vince) and Steven Falgie (Maureen). Dear grandmother of Jesse, Lindsey, Eric, Vinae, Anna, Jamie, Gabrielle, Ben and great grandmother of Vincent. Preceded in death by her brother Ronald Hankele.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 13th from 9:30 - 10:15 am at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, Township Line and Walton Rds. Plymouth Meeting, PA where a Mass will begin promptly at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
