Joanne M. Hanney (3/17/1934 – 2/18/2024) passed peacefully February 18, 2024, to be with her husband John F. Hanney who passed January 29, 2023. Joanne was born in Yonkers NY and lived there with her husband John F. Hanney, raised a family and taught in the Yonkers Public School system. Joanne loved Westhampton Beach, playing tennis and spending days at The Swordfish collecting beach glass. Joanne is survived by her 4 children, Pam, Cindy, Liz and John, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren!
