Judith S. Voelbel passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Philadelphia, PA.  She was 85 years old, born on February 18, 1936 in Kingston, NY to the late Morris and Fannie (Levinson) Schuster. Morris remarried after Fannie passed to Mary Schuster and together they raised Judy since she was a young child.

Judy spent most of her early adult life raising her three children, worked as a bookkeeper, and being a loving wife and companion to her late husband, Harold "Dick" Voelbel, Jr. She was an avid reader and loved reading fiction books. She spent many hours putting jigsaw puzzles together and would play bingo many nights of the week.

She is survived by her daughter Jean Kilhaney and her husband Kenneth Kilhaney, her son Gerald Voelbel and his wife Richelle Voelbel, and her son Donald Voelbel and his wife Bonnie Voelbel; her grandchildren: Ryan Kilhaney and his wife Anastasia Kilhaney; Rachel Grant and her husband Mark Grant; Zachary Voelbel, Mason Voelbel, and Sydney Voelbel; nephew Fred Lessman and his wife Cheryl Lessman; and niece Lydia Wieselthier and her husband Marc Wieselthier. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Roberta Lessman and Roberta's husband Ralph Lessman.

A memorial service may be planned in the future to celebrate her life.
