Obituary of Kammini Ragoopath
Ragoopath, Kammini Glenda Gouri suddenly on February 27th, 2010 of Lansdale, PA. She was born on January 21, 1989 in Philadelphia, the second of 3 girls. She grew up with independance and a goal driven personality from an early age. Most recently, she was a Junior at Temple University studying Public Relations and quickly became active in many of the student activities on the Broad Street campus. Kammini was an accomplished dancer, skilled in hip hop, ballet, and many forms of traditional and non-traditional Indian dancing. She was also an athlete, having played tennis and volleyball for many years, including an international tennis competion in Australia.
Kammini lived life to the fullest, evidenced by this quote she made as part of her participation in the US Miss Caribbean Beauty Contest held in Philadelphia in 2009, "I expect to accomplish a lot in my lifetime. I have high hopes for myself. I will not settle for anything less then what I believe I deserve."
Kammini is survived by her parents, Glen & Susan Ragoopath; and sisters Camille and Melisa Ragoopath and a large extended family.
