Mcpeak
October 20, 1933 – May 15, 2024
Kathleen Ferguson Morris McPeak, age 90, was born October 20, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Frances (Engelhardt) Ferguson.
She attended Little Flower High School and received her nursing degree from Philadelphia General Hospital. Kathleen's beauty inspired the school to use her photo to promote and advertise the nursing program. She later obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
Kathleen married William J. Morris in 1954 and had four children, Jeffrey, Susan, William Jr. and Kristen during their 26 year marriage. She was a loving and hands-on grandmother to Grainne, Aisling, Mark, Mari Clair, Skyler and Mackenzie and great-grandchildren, Henry and Sophie.
Kathleen married James H. McPeak in 2012 and the couple resided in Montgomery County until the time of her death.
Kathleen will be remembered for her intelligence, elegant style, creativity, and hospitality. She traveled to over 130 countries. She was a gifted needlework artist and made numerous stunning and innovative pieces for friends and family. She frequented the Metropolitan Opera, enjoyed the Phillies and was a New York Times Crossword aficionado.
Kathleen is survived by her husband Jim McPeak, her brother James Ferguson and his wife, Molly, children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Frances Beardsley and brothers, Eugene Ferguson, Thomas Ferguson and Richard Ferguson.
Kathleen requested cremation and a memorial service will be held a later date, which will be announced for family and friends.
