IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Katy
Saylor
January 11, 2003 – June 15, 2024
Katya (Katy) Ira Saylor passed away on June 15, 2024 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Upper Merion Township, PA
Katy came to us from Russia where she was born on January 11, 2003. She was quiet and pensive and learned to communicate using sign language until she got comfortable enough with everything. She began talking and there was no turning back! Katy was a force to be reckoned with.
She was a graduate of The Technical College High School in Phoenixville, PA. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, horses, driving, and being with her friends. Her father often joked that she did not mind mucking out a horse stall but hated cleaning her room. Katy was always on the move, so much so that she left half her food and half her drink everywhere she went. She left half…..
She worked at Arnold's Fun Place in Oaks PA and loved it. She posted many a video of her racing go carts. She also worked at Hill Buick GMC in Newtown Square, PA. This was her first job where she got paid for working on cars for a living. She was a gearhead at heart and she loved the job. She loved horsepower of any type!
She is survived by her loving father, Mark A Saylor. Her mother, Loretta (Ret) Saylor passed away on March 8 2024. She is also survived by her grandfather, Paul E Saylor, Jr., aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Friends and family are invited to gather Saturday, June 29th, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 at The Heritage Chapel at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will be held at noon before we escort Katy to her final rest place at George Washington Memorial Park.
